About Alibertos
Alibertos translates to "free person" or "free of chains", a name adopted by this cosy wine-oriented restaurant located in the village of Kounoupidiana, just outside of Chania, Crete. Although the venue opened its doors in August of 2020, it has made a name for itself, not only because of its great food and its wine selection but also because of its really good service.
The venue's walk-in wine cellar holds more than 500 labels from all over the world, carefully selected by George Badogiannis, who is not only the sommelier of Alibertos, but also the owner.
