Della Tang was born and raised in Shenzhen, China. She is one of the most reputable rising stars in the Chinese wine market and sommelier world. She discovered her passion for food during her college life in Los Angeles, USA, where she would plan her holiday travelling according to the restaurants she would like to visit.

After her degree completion in Psychology, she flew to Paris to pursue a study of wine in Le Cordon Bleu. During this wine education program, she had her internships at two famous Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris: one-starred Yam'Tcha and two-starred Le Taillevent. She returned to Shenzhen in 2019 and curated the wine program of Ensue, which was recognized on Asia’s 50 Best list in 2022.

With a rapid expansion of the restaurant SAVOR over the four years, she became the group sommelier managing four different outlets until recently.

In 2020, Della won the titles of China's Best Sommelier and Best Champagne Sommelier. Three years later, she received the inaugural Beronia Asia’s Best Sommelier Award 2023 at the Asia’s 50 Best Awards Ceremony.
