Trade news: present your wines on Star Wine List’s ‘Inspiration Table’ in Sweden and Denmark
Star Wine List's events have become prime locations for partners to show their wines and products to top sommeliers, media and importers. Now, we are opening up that opportunity to even more producers outside of our official partners, starting from only 490 Euros.
“We love that our awards and events have become real sources for inspiration, where top sommeliers, restaurateurs, media and other parts of the trade have the chance to meet and sample great wines,” says Krister Bengtsson, Founder and Publisher of Star Wine List.
“We are now very excited to give more, and perhaps some smaller, producers the chance to gain new audiences.”
Krister is referring to the newly introduced ‘Inspiration Table’ – soon to be a recurrent feature at Star Wine List’s various events, including our wine list awards. As the name suggests, the Inspiration Table will first make an appearance at November’s Inspiration Day, in Stockholm.
Alongside our regular partners, who will each have a designated table at the walk-around tasting, the Inspiration Table will showcase a selection of producers in one go, offering guests the chance to encounter new and exciting names.
After Inspiration Day, the Inspiration Table will next pop up at Star Wine List of the Year Denmark, in Copenhagen. And expect to see the Inspiration Table at yet more events to come!

About the events
10 November 2025: Inspiration Day, Stockholm
A half-day event (1pm – 6pm) designed to gather wine lovers of every sort – both professionals and consumers – for a day of vinous inspiration. A walk-around tasting will run simultaneously to an insightful roster of on-stage speakers, headlined by Jancis Robinson MW as she celebrates 50 years in wine writing.
The audience will total approximately 150 people. Confirmed attendees include sommeliers, media, importers, Systembolaget, other wine trade, and passionate wine consumers.

24 November 2025: Star Wine List of the Year Denmark, Copenhagen
Part of the Star Wine List of the Year tour, this awards event will celebrate the best wine lists in Denmark and the teams behind them. All of the competition’s finalists are invited to attend, making the guest list a who’s who of Denmark’s top wine bars and restaurants as the sommelier and restaurant teams come together to find out who has won a Gold Star.
Last year’s attendees included the teams from Alchemist, Geranium and Jordnær restaurants, along with wine bars such as Bar'Vin, Visselulles Vinbar and Den Vandrette – to name a few. The high-calibre audience is capped at approximately 100 people and also includes media, other key sommeliers, and importer partners.

Terms
– The €490 fee is to be paid in advance, either by credit card link or invoice.
– If the fee is not paid in full prior to the event in question, we cannot guarantee the wines will be shown.
– The producer agrees to send at least two bottles of each wine for the tasting; delivery instructions will be provided.
– The producer understands that, should there be logistical problems, we cannot guarantee that the wines will be shown. Star Wine List will not offer refunds to producers whose wines are not shown owing to problems outside of our control.
– Unopened bottles will not be returned.
