The rumours are true: Star Wine List can now be found on TikTok. New Social Media Manager Estefanía Coral tells us how the videos will help wine lovers the world over find their next glass.
Here at Star Wine List, we already provide you with a map of the world’s best wine places. And curated guides to each region. And reviews from expert ambassadors, plus their insights into their respective wine scenes.
Then, of course, there are our awards events naming the best wine lists across the globe, attended by the great and the good of the sommelier community.
Now, there are going to be even more events, starting with Inspiration Day Stockholm on 10 November.
We don’t want you to miss one single bit. In fact, we want to show you more – reveal what goes on behind the scenes and give you even more insider tips. Whoever and wherever you are, we want to bring you into the Star Wine List universe and, ultimately, help you find and savour your next delicious wine.
In charge of our video content is Social Media Manager, Estefanía Coral, who has just joined the Star Wine List team from her home in Uppsala, Sweden. Originally from Colombia, Estefanía has a wealth of gastronomic experience, having worked for elBulliLab, IGCAT and FUNLEO, and is focused on both food’s role within culture, and sustainability.
Now turning her hand to wine, Estefanía has already produced a series of videos on TikTok, with many more to come. We meet the entrepreneur, who tells us what’s in store.
What first got you excited about food?
“How complete it is, and how many areas it embraces. I also used to love watching cooking programmes when I was a kid – I was obsessed! So when I was 13 years old, I decided I wanted to work in gastronomy. Food connects people, but also thoughts, culture, and feelings – everything!”
And how have you found your initiation into the world of wine?
“When I was at university, we had an oenology class with Laura Hernández Espinosa, one of the best-known sommeliers in Colombia. I loved that class so much that I became her teaching assistant for two years. That was my first real interaction with wine. Later, when I moved to France, I learned more about the social and cultural side of it. One of my favourite moments of the day was l’apéro – seeing how French people respected that moment with food and wine really inspired me and made me curious to learn more.”
What have you learned from Star Wine List so far?
“I’ve learned a lot about what a wine list truly means, but also how to discover (or rediscover) cities through their wine places. My experiences in Barcelona, Paris, and Amsterdam, even though I already knew those cities, have been incredible because I got to know them through the spots where locals go. Plus, connecting with people who are truly passionate about wine has been awesome!”
What can followers expect from Star Wine List on TikTok?
“We’ll be sharing videos that capture the vibe and atmosphere of the wine places featured on our platform, all recommended by our local ambassadors. We want you to experience them with us, to show you what makes these places special, and to inspire you, as wine lovers, to visit them yourselves. We’ll also be interviewing our ambassadors and people from our network, with questions ranging from serious ones to fun ones, and much more!”

“Because we’ll be sharing a more personal and relaxed side of Star Wine List. We want you to connect with our network of people and places in a more casual way, like chatting with a friend or visiting your favourite wine spot.”
What's been your favourite video to work on so far?
“I really enjoyed the video we made in Paris, which is live now – go check it out! It was my first time in the city without doing anything touristy, just living like a local and visiting the places locals love. I fell in love with Paris and will definitely go back to keep rediscovering this wonderful city.”
What's in the pipeline? Can you give us any teasers of what's to come?
“We’ll soon post our ‘Wine Weekend’ video guide to Amsterdam and, of course, there’ll be lots of content from Inspiration Day – expect plenty of interviews and behind-the-scenes moments from that. We’ll also share more from our awards season as it continues, so there’s a lot of exciting content on the way.”
What's the best wine place you've ever been to?
“That’s hard to choose, but I really love Bodega Solera in Barcelona. The food was delicious, the service was incredible, the prices were fair, and the décor was amazing.”
