For a two-star establishment the wine list is really rather short, whilst still managing to feature wines from all over the world. There are very few options by the glass but in fairness who has a glass with a tasting menu? With sometimes just one or two references per region they’ve essentially cherry picked the highlights. And they don’t mess around either, go hard or go home!

You can have fun exploring a little wider when it comes to Bordeaux reds (going back to the 80s) and noughties Rhone. What the list lacks in length it makes up for in being a manageable size (not to be sniffed at) and actually quite fun - a bit like going to raid a friend’s very good (if slightly random) cellar.

Food-wise, it’s a 12-course tasting menu of the world’s best ingredients. You can eat in the restaurant or at the Kitchen Table for a premium; two wine pairings, classic and prestige, are also offered.
