About Tasting Lab by the Somm Vault
Starting as a consulting business in 2016, ‘The Somm Vault Consultancy’ evolved into ‘Tasting Lab by The Somm Vault’ in 2018. The establishment was founded by Jessica Chong, a renowned sommelier with over 20 years’ experience in the business. Unlike other wine bars or restaurants providing a wine list, Jessica prefers to showcase her wines on the racks of a walk-in glass cellar, to enhance the recommendation process with visual prompts for the guests.
The wines chosen by Jessica focus largely on the Old World, though she does offer some New World wines as well to please other palates. You’ll also find some interesting wines from Romania, Bulgaria, Lebanon and Syria among her selections, as well.
