About Noble
On the city's most beautiful location, on the city wall overlooking nature area Bossche Broek, you'll find the historical building in which Michelin starred restaurant Noble is situated. In contrast to the historical setting, the interior is a combination of warmth, openness and modernity, fancy but not flashy. Head chef and owner Edwin Kats has played a central role in Dutch gastronomy ever since he was part of the Kranenborg team in the Amstel hotel.
Ahead of its time, Noble was one of the first venues to introduce shared dining into the Netherlands, a concept that they still cherish. The young team work meticulously well to bring guests a comfortable lunch or dinner with an eye for detail. Are you visiting during the summer? The grand terrace is a treat, especially for lunch.
About the Noble Wine List
Over time, Noble's wine list has grown and gained substantial weight. Aiming to please a broad audience, you will find wines from all over the world in many different styles. As one of Noble's financial investors is also the owner of California's Bernardus Winery, you will find all of their wines here, too, of course. However, the Noble clientele prefers a more classic touch like left bank Bordeaux and white Burgundy.
Most famous names like Lafon, Leflaive and Lafite can be drunk here, though smaller budgets are well accommodated. The generosity of the Dutch south, combined with an eye for detail, is reflected both in the kitchen and on the wine list.
