Jysk Vin Vinbar is a modern wine bar with lounge chairs, spotlights on each table, and walls of semi-transparent fabrics that create a feeling of being alone yet still with a great atmosphere. At the back, there’s a high counter table with room for about 20 guests. The music is subtle, and the pace is deliberately slow.

The staff members are knowledgeable, and it’s possible to enjoy wine flights selected by the sommeliers. They serve small plates, tapas, charcuterie, and artisan cheeses — perfect if you’re in the mood for a quick bite alongside your wine.

During summer, the courtyard comes to life, offering views of beautiful old Danish buildings and a refreshing breeze.

The list is based mainly on European wines, with France, Italy and Spain as the major players. There’s also a large selection of wines by the glass with more than 160 to choose from. The name refers both to the owner, Jysk Vin, a wine importer, and to the location, Jylland.
