Divino Enoteca

Situated in the historic Old Town, Divino Enoteca is a third-generation Italian family-run business, which opened its doors in 2010.

The food is traditional Italian ‘fine dining’, while the vibrant décor, jazzy plates and white tablecloths make it out as more ‘ristorante’ than rustic trattoria. And with around 150 bottles on the list, it’s clear they are enthusiastic about the subject. An enomatic machine allows for 32 choices by the glass, including 25ml taster glasses. The bulk of the list is Italian, organised by style over region, with prices from £30-100. The reds also have a ‘Fine’ section – a few Super Tuscans and some older vintages from the Veneto, Piedmont and Montalcino. There’s a swift one pager of international wines, but clearly the only way here is Italian.
