Located at the top of the idyllic landscape over “Praia do Camilo,” this restaurant has been owned by the same family for over 40 years and ‘Xico’ will serve you with open arms and knowledge. Apart from this, the place has one of the most impressive views in the country, right over the sea, which is reflected in the kitchen through its focus on fresh grilled fish, and equally fresh and succulent seafood.

There may be a television in the restaurant, but you'd never miss it thanks to the quality of the food, cooking and seasoning, plus the comfort of the restaurant and the glimpse of the horizon. Now if it was missing wine? That, you would notice but, thankfully, Camilo offers a wine list focused mostly on national wines, with references from each of the Portuguese regions. As expected, there is a greater focus on the Algarve, but also on the Douro Valley, with recent and older vintages, and an almost 50/50 split between bubbles, and white and red wines.

Another positive point is the parking, plus the fact that you can eat and drink from 12pm and well into the night without interruption.
