At the foot of the Butte Montmartre (Paris 9th arrondissement), Pierre Renauld (ex-Vantre) at only 26 years old decides to open a restaurant. 228 Litres is young, dynamic and relaxed. Feel free to get there at any time of the evening.
If you're in the mood to shop, they have a cosy wine shop right down the street: La Cave Pigalle.

You will find a wine list combining classic and natural tastes. With a smile, Pierre will dig up some beautiful findings in this cozy and intimate place. The wine shop next door, Cave de Pigalle, has the same owners and also offers the entire assortment for a small corkage fee.

Stopped by for a glass of bubbly and was impressed by the extensive list of grower champagnes. The atmosphere was laid back and both Robin and Louis were very welcoming. Showing off their immense cellar, which must surely be every natural wine lovers wet dream! Will definitely stop by for a bite next time I visit Paris.
