Star Wine List of the Year Germany-Austria-Switzerland 2026
On 18 May 2026, Star Wine List of the Year will host a joint competition for wine bars and restaurants in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, at VieVinum.
The wine lists of Germany, Austria and Switzerland will be assessed by an expert panel of judges including Ferran Centelles, Stephen Wong MW and Mikk Parre, whose finalists will be announced in April.
Our awards ceremony will be held on the last day of VieVinum, which takes place in Vienna from 16 to 18 May. The event will mark our fifth celebration of both Austrian and German wine lists, and our fourth covering Switzerland. We look forward to reading the applications.
Please note that the Best Austrian Wine List category applies to venues in Germany and Switzerland only; venues in Austria are not eligible to enter this particular category.

A panel of top sommeliers and wine experts will assess all wine lists entered. More details below.
What if I'm shortlisted?
We will invite you to our awards ceremony to announce the Gold Star winners.
What if I win?
You will receive a Gold Star in the form of a physical certificate and digital badges. Winners in our international categories will automatically be entered into the Star Wine List of the Year International Final, in June 2026.
