20 years ago, Bordeaux comprised 80 % of secondary market trade. Last year, it comprised 35 %. The region’s En Primeur distribution system comes under pressure each year, while other regions increase their market share. What does the future hold? Will Burgundy take Bordeaux’s crown? Which other regions or segments look set to rise?
