Wine Paris is back for 2025! Here’s what to expect
For the sixth time, the great and the good of the wine and spirits industries are preparing to gather for Wine Paris. Hosted by Vinexposium, the exhibition will take place at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from 10-12 February 2025 – and we’ve got all the details.
Partner story with Wine Paris and Vinexposium.
Wine Paris has become a firm fixture in the drinks trade calendar and, in 2025, it will return for its sixth edition – bigger and better than ever. The exhibition has grown impressively over the past three years, and is now recognised as an international meeting point for drinks brands and professionals.
This coming February, an expected 50,000 trade visitors can look forward to six exhibition halls across three floors, filled with over 4,600 exhibitors representing 50 producer countries, and 140 countries overall. Many of those countries are vastly increasing their floor space, with Italy doubling down to take over an entire hall featuring 30 regional pavilions. Elsewhere, China is increasing its area by 152%, Germany by 81%, Spain by 65%, Portugal by 62% and Austria by 58%.
The host country is also expanding its presence, by 7%, with all of France’s marketing boards and many leading brands confirmed to attend, including Les Grands Chais de France, Boisset, Famille Guigal, Borie-Manoux, M. Chapoutier, Groupe EPI, Castel Frères and Baron Philippe de Rothschild, plus Champagne houses Bollinger, Lanson, G.H. Martel and Vranken.
New international pavilions will welcome South Africa, Argentina, Armenia, Chile, Hungary, North Macedonia, Uruguay and Australia.
“Against a backdrop of geopolitical, economic and environmental instability, the global wine and spirits industry is experiencing a period of unprecedented turbulence,” says Vinexposium’s CEO Rodolphe Lameyse. “Faced with this complex crisis, isolationism is not an option. It is by combining strengths that solutions are born. Industry stakeholders are therefore increasingly feeling the need to gather around a powerful hub to strengthen their ties and engage with each other.
“Wine Paris is a unique nexus for business and source of economic and political influence due to its location in Paris – the ideal city in terms of accessibility and infrastructure – the quality of its organisation ensured by the professionalism of Vinexposium’s teams, and the loyalty of buyers who prioritise Wine Paris as a strategic hub and prime business platform.”
The exhibition’s ‘Be Spirits’ section widens its scope out to the broader drinks industry, with over 230 spirits producers from 32 countries attending; the low/no category has expanded by 76%. This area's focal point will be the ‘Infinite Bar,’ where 20 bars teams will display their mixology prowess over a 40-metre bar.
And this year sees the launch of Vinexposium's first ever magazine, ‘VOICES OF THE INDUSTRY,’ uniting and amplifying the voices of everybody involved, across both of these wine and spirits sectors, in a “unique media ecosystem.” The first issue of this quarterly magazine will be published in February, and will be available at Wine Paris, as well as digitally.
