Vintages is a wine that demonstrates the diversity of flavours of the Riesling grape. Born from the idea of recreating the magic of the Champagne Grand Cuvée in a Riesling still wine. Achieved through assemblage, the method used by the great Champagne winemakers to harmoniously combine the complexity of different vintages in one bottle.
Dreissigacker Vintages is a wine bottled with dedication and passion for Riesling and the constant pursuit of innovation and progress, with the first edition in spring 2018.
SIX VINTAGES, ONE RIESLING
The Riesling Dreissigacker Vintages Edition IV is a blend of six Riesling vintages. Perfection begins in the vineyards with the careful harvesting of the most suitable lots at the optimum ripening stage. In the Dreissigacker cellars, the individual lots and vintages mature separately. Maturation is based on the knowledge gained from previous Vintages Editions to produce complex but well-matched base wines. Vintage Edition IV combines the vintages 2017 to 2022 to create a unique wine experience on the German wine market.
Vintages Riesling is an exceptional creation that highlights the complexity and richness of Riesling. This wine does not reflect the individual style of style of a winemaker, but is a celebration of the many facets of the Riesling grape.
