Melville, Santa Rita Hills, 2022Nestled in the rolling hills of the Sta. Rita Hills AVA, Melville is a family-owned estate winery dedicated to producing world-class cold-climate Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah. Founded in 1989 by Ron Melville, the winery's roots trace back to Sonoma's Knights valley before finding its ideal home in the Santa Barbara county in 1996. Recognizing the region's unique terroir, the Melville family played a pivotal role in establishing the Sta. Rita Hills AVA in 2001. With a commitment to estate-grown excellence, Ron and his son Chad, oversee every step of the winemaking process-from meticulous vineyard care to holistic, hands-on production-resulting in wines that capture the purity, balance, and vibrant intensity of this cool-climate region. Their 2022 Pinot Noir is a stunning expression of the estate, showcasing bright red fruit, elegant minerality, and a beautifully layered finish. Bin 4259113
