Tenyoshi

Tenyoshi is a tempura restaurant on Yoshijimanishi island, not far from the centre of Hiroshima. A small, husband-and-wife business, Tenyoshi serves a set menu only, including delicious sashimi and outstanding tempura, with warm and attentive service up at a dining counter. Seats are very limited so you are highly recommended to make a reservation before going.

The wine list is short, but selective, focusing on wines to best accompany the cuisine (Champagne goes especially well with tempura). Please don't be shy about asking for the team’s suggestions – they may have some lovely wines off-list to serve you. They use only premium glassware for all beverages, to enhance the drinking experience.
