Spirale.

Spirale is a wine bar in the centre of Hiroshima, only a few blocks away from the famous Peace Memorial Park. Opened in Nov 2022, it is owned and managed by one energetic lady.

The bar has just 12 countertop seats, thus maintaining attentive service and good interaction with guests. With a simplistic interior, it provides a very comfortable environment for wine lovers, also providing lovely bar snacks to accompany the wine, and a wine shop for take-away purchases.

Just like their interior design, the wine list is simple, elegant, straightforward, and very easy to read. It focuses on French and Japanese wine selections, mainly from small producers; the grower Champagne and Japanese sections are particular highlights. Many of the wines are very limited, so there is always a new wine ready to replace items as they sell out – which is often – helping to keep the wine list feeling alive.
