The Stanley Bridge Tavern represents the quintessential Australian pub venue where locals congregate for chicken schnitzels and burgers, with a pint of local ‘froth’ from their favorite local brewery. The owners are the same wine aficionados who opened The Crafers Hotel, which won Best Winelist in South Australia and in the top three Best in Australia in 2018. They have joined forces with Pablo Theodoros, one of the previous owners of top wine retail shop East End Cellars in the city, therefore you can expect this pub to have a huge focus on wine.

There is a feel of heritage as soon as you walk in, with their original shingle ceiling and the famous old country front bar. The venue is large and has a big outdoor area perfect for families. The place is always buzzing with people who regularly come for lunch, dinner and the afternoon pint or two. The menu is seasonal and offers produce from surrounding regional farmers. Make sure to book as this is a very busy and happy venue.

There is no wine list as such. All the bottles are presented in a walk-in cellar and patrons come and pick from the shelf. The wine selection is verging more on the classic with extensive representation of Australian wineries as well as a highlight on regions like Burgundy, Piedmont and Bordeaux.
