Rue Madame

Rue Madame is a very welcome addition to the busy esplanade of central Helsinki as, regardless of its prime location close to high-couture stores and a five-star hotel, the wine list offers great value. The list is fairly compact, focusing on French and Italian wines, but manages to include both established, well-known names and small, artisanal producers. The by-the-glass list is short but covers different styles, and the pricing is friendly throughout.

The food follows the style of a classic brasserie and, together with the interior design, makes one feel very relaxed.
