The renowned Rockpool is an upmarket steak restaurant housed within the Crown Metropol precinct. The dining room is bold and serious, sitting alongside a large open kitchen. The bar is sophisticated, where excellent burgers alongside grand cru Burgundy is most definitely an option.

The encyclopaedic wine list takes time to peruse, as the regions of Europe are thoroughly represented. Verticals of Australian icons and plenty of back vintage wines are a real feature here.
