About Restaurant Stüffel
Restaurant Stüffel is located near a small ‘Fleet’ in Hamburg - Eppendorf; Fleet is the local name for all the small rivers that run through the city of Hamburg.
Ondrej Kovar worked in different Michelin-starred restaurants all over Germany and Austria before opening Restaurant Stüffel in 2015.
The food is modern and regional, but they always serve classic dishes like Wiener Schnitzel or roasted duck in the winter months. In the summer you can sit outside on the beautiful terrace and enjoy the view of the small river with boats. In the restaurant basement, they also have a small wine bar for private events.
The wine list offers 800+ labels. It has a beautiful selection of quality German producers focused on Riesling and Burgundy varieties. There is also a good selection of Austrian and French wines, and I would call it the best Burgundy wine list in Hamburg. Bordeaux and New World wine are present too.
