About Pétrelle
A quietly gastronomic bistro hidden on the charming Rue Pétrelle, where you can satisfy your taste for great wines without compromising on romance. Wood panelling, white tablecloths, candlelight, a four- or five-course menu touched by grace, and a wine list of the same calibre – sensitive, deep and deeply personal, reflecting the duo behind it: chef Lucie Boursier-Mougenot in the kitchen, and sommelier Luca Danti in the dining room, whose always-astute advice allows you, after a few visits, to forgo a lengthy inspection of the list in favour of a more elegant “I'll trust you.”
On his list, you’ll find great reconciliatory classics – the finest Champagne houses and grower producers, Loire Valley icons of the highest order, Burgundian gems both well-established and newly arrived. On the counter, there are august demijohns of Cognac and other spirits served by pipette as digestifs.
Not to be missed: the Sunday lunch, the best remedy for those end-of-weekend blues.
