About Marie B

Marie B is the brainchild of sommelier Zdeněk Oudes and brings a fresh, playful wine-driven concept to the Prague dining scene. As the sister restaurant of Michelin-starred La Dégustation Bohême Bourgeoise, it offers a remarkable gastronomic experience in a more laid-back, lightly irreverent atmosphere.

The hipster-chic design blends vaulted historical ceilings with a sleek open kitchen, a contemporary bar, and bold post-punk neon artworks by German artist Anselm Reyle. The wine list is crafted with precision and personality, spotlighting small Austrian producers (such as Moric, Tschida), Burgundian gems (Philippe Pacalet, Les Horées), grower Champagnes (La Closerie, Ulysse Collin), and standout private labels from Moravian natural winemakers such as Ota Ševčík and Milan Nestarec.

The menu draws inspiration from the first Czech cookbook by Marie B. Svobodová, honouring tradition with a modern twist. An interactive wine-pairing programme offers three paths – Discovery, Heritage, or Non-Alcoholic – while the onsite wine shop lets guests take favourites home.

Located just a short walk from Náměstí Republiky, Marie B is a vibrant stop for curious wine lovers.
