Didon Wine List
About Didon
On the discreet Rue du Dragon, in the heart of a sixth arrondissement that keeps stacking up new addresses, a little-known stronghold seduces with the depth of its by-the-glass offering (more than 50 pours spanning all regions), allowing you to indulge your taste for grands crus alongside a certain appetite for risk, with more confidential references that are sometimes unjustly underrated.
Designed by consultant Stéphane Derenoncourt – a Bordeaux signature venturing well beyond home turf – this is a wine list we wish we saw more often on the Left Bank.
With dishes that swing between the Middle East and the Mediterranean – beautiful cuts of meat and fish cooked over an open fire – this is the ideal address for venturing into wines whose richness and power find here a worthy match: Rhône Valley, Languedoc-Roussillon, Provence and, further afield, Lebanon, Greece and Italy; not forgetting a Bordeaux selection that doesn’t merely align the grands crus classés, finally available by the glass and across fine vintages.
