Au Bon Manger is a bona fide Champagne institution, a neighbourhood bar, tucked away on a quiet street in the better part of Reims. It’s where the locals go and the pilgrims find their way. Inside you’ll find a seat at the table of something that looks more like a farmhouse kitchen than a bar, but that’s the idea. Here the food and wine philosophy is to source from small family-run farms and winegrowers that are terroir-focused, high-quality, and worthy of engaging conversations with passionate owners, Aline and Eric Serva.
Ask for a glass of the house pour and you’ll be served blind - there is no other way - unless you buy by the bottle. It’s part of the unique appeal and fun of the place but rest assured, staff will enlighten you moments after.
