Star Wine List of the Year Denmark 2021

The first international tour of Star Wine List of the Year visited 10 countries and concluded with a final in May this year. Now, it's time for the second tour, and in September we will crown the best wine lists in Denmark.

On 13 September the winners in Denmark will be revealed during a live event during the Danish sommelier championship.

CATEGORIES
The wine lists are judged in several categories:
Best Austrian List, presented by Austrian Wine
Best By the Glass List
Best Short List (less than 200 references)
Best Medium-Sized List (200-600 references)
Grand Prix for the Best large list (more than 600 references)
Special Jury Prize (for a list that is out of the ordinary in terms of form or content)
Best Sparkling List

JURY AND CRITERIA
The jury for the Danish event has been:
• Marc Almert, Best Sommelier of the World 2019
• Raimonds Tomsons, Best Sommelier of Europe 2017
• Rajat Parr, sommelier, winemaker, author
• Julie Dupouy-Young, three times Best Sommelier of Ireland
• Paz Levinson, Best Sommelier of Argentina and the Americas

The jury's mission is to rate their favourites while considering width, depth, originality and value.
