About Wirtshaus Jagawirt

It doesn’t get more Styrian than this. Jagerwirt is a Gasthaus, a farm, a restaurant. The property includes gardens, farm animals, and a cosy B&B component. The owners import their own wines, mixing their own portfolio with regional names, and leaning hard into organic, biodynamic, and natural wines. The menu sits firmly in regional tradition – think house-grown Schilcher, pork cuts from their own herd (notably their signature Waldschwein roll), and dishes built around fresh, local produce.

Inside, wood-paneled rooms and open fireplaces make the ambiance warmly rustic. Outside, tables under shady trees and a leafy terrace invite boozy meals. Rooms come with garden-view balconies, and there’s a children’s playground for younger guests.

A highlight: their farm shop doubles as a wine shop, where you can take home Schilcher from their own vines or browse a wide selection of natural wines from Austria and beyond.
