About Rong Ji 95
Situated in the Bund area, seafood bistro Rong Ji 95 (荣记95) falls under the umbrella of well-known restaurant group, Xin Rong Ji (新荣记). Founder Zhang Yong started out with a humble open-air food stall in Tai Zhou in 1995; 30 years later, he successfully turned Xin Rong Ji into the most famous Chinese fine dining restaurant brand with over 30 branches around the country.
The idea of Rong Ji 95 is to reproduce the origin of the group – a casual restaurant where people can enjoy Xin Rong Ji’s cuisine with friendly pricing and relaxed ambience, just as the food stall brought to the general public all those years ago.
The wine selection here is constantly evolving and, with the support from the group, has fairly low mark-ups. So if you are around the Bund area and looking for a place to enjoy some nice bottles with great pricing and have some tasty seafood dishes, this is the place to go!
