Le Recommandé

Le Recommandé is a proper neighbourhood bar and café, tucked away from the thoroughfare of Avize. With a friendly and easy going vibe, the tone is set by vibrant colours and an eclectic mix of objets d’art.

The wine list is concise but well sourced, and primarily references excellent growers from the Côte de Blancs such as Selosse and others. There’s nothing quite like drinking Selosse as fresh as this on its home turf in Avize, so keep fingers crossed to find it on the list when you visit!

There is also a modest selection of vins blancs and vins rouges from France, but you are best to order Champagne here.

Complement your glass with a selection of casual bistro-esque dishes like croque monsieur, terrine, charcuterie and salads.
