    At Six Hotel in downtown Stockholm caters to traveling wine lovers, both with the stylish restaurant At Six Dining Room and the wine bar Blanche & Hierta (also on Star Wine List). They have an international touch of luxury.

    The new Bank Hotel in central Stockholm has an ambitious restaurant, Bonnie's, with a menu from Europe’s coastal cities. As the name implies, this used to be a grand old bank building. The hotel has a luxury feel to it and several small bars along with the restaurant in the center of the building.

    Djuret (The animal), one of the restaurants in the main gastronomic block in Old Town, is always evolving and it is therefore a good idea to check their website to see what the kitchen is up to at the moment. Whatever it is, it will be tasty and comfortable. At the bar the menu is a la carte and specials often including great wine deals.

    Ett Hem is the exclusive hotel with a homely feel that also houses a fine restaurant. The orangerie in the courtyard gives you a feeling of being at Fäviken in the middle of a city. The wine list is curated at the highest level with Burgundy, Jura, Italy, USA and many other gems. Please note that you cannot drop in to the restaurant, you have to make a reservation in advance.

    The grandest hotel in the city also boasts one of the grandest wine cellars, including a bottle from the year the hotel opened, 1874. The wine list is massive and accessible in the hotel’s classic Veranda restaurant and Cadier bar, as well as in the Mathias Dahlgren restaurants Rutabaga and Matbaren.

    Restaurant Paul’s at the Haymarket hotel in central Stockholm is a turn of the century American brasserie, influenced by classic European flavours and elegance. The location is right across from the concert hall at Hötorget. Paul's has recently added a wine bar where you can order from the food menu and get a different selection of wines. Not a bad choice if you're going to a concert.

    The Winery Hotel is the impressive modern urban winery and hotel that has opened just north of Stockholm. It houses a winery, hotel, bar, restaurant and conference rooms. The wine list has wines from the hotel as well as Italian producer Terreno which shares the same owner, but also everything from natural wines to mature Bordeaux. In the bar a number of wines are available by the glass and in oenomatic machines. These wines rotate often and are not listed.

    The Sparrow is (despite the Anglo name) a French wine bar and restaurant attached to the Stockholm hotel with the same name. The venue is owned by Grand Hotel and its master chef Mathias Dahlgren has been involved in the cuisine.

    The chefs from Aloë have created the kitchen and menu for the new luxury hotel Villa Dagmar in central Stockholm. (With Franzén’s new Astoria just down the street this is the new hotspot downtown). The DNA from Aloë is visible in the menu and the delicious and sometimes quite spicy dishes are served in beautiful dining rooms and the orangerie. Just next door you have the Östermalm saluhall.
