Bank Hotel in central Stockholm has an ambitious restaurant, Bonnie's, with a menu from Europe’s coastal cities. As the name implies, this used to be a grand old bank building. The hotel has a luxury feel to it and several small bars along with the restaurant in the center of the building.

Ett Hem is the exclusive hotel with a homely feel that also houses a fine dining restaurant. During 2022 the hotel has expanded to the neighbouring building. This has given more space to the restaurant and there are several separate rooms for dinners and tastings. The wine list is curated at the highest level with Burgundy, Jura, Italy, USA and many other gems. Please note that you cannot drop in to the restaurant, you have to make a reservation in advance.

The grandest hotel in the city also boasts one of the grandest wine cellars, including a bottle from the year the hotel opened, 1874. The wine list is massive and accessible in the hotel’s classic Veranda restaurant and Cadier bar, as well as in the Mathias Dahlgren restaurants Rutabaga and Matbaren.

The Winery Hotel is the impressive modern urban winery and hotel that has opened just north of Stockholm. It houses a winery, hotel, bar, restaurant and conference rooms. The wine list has wines from the hotel as well as Italian producer Terreno which shares the same owner, but also everything from natural wines to mature Bordeaux. In the bar a number of wines are available by the glass and in oenomatic machines. These wines rotate often and are not listed.

The Sparrow is (despite the Anglo name) a French wine bar and restaurant attached to the Stockholm hotel with the same name. The venue is owned by Grand Hotel and its master chef Mathias Dahlgren has been involved in the cuisine.

The chefs from Aloë have created the kitchen and menu for the new luxury hotel Villa Dagmar in central Stockholm. (With Franzén’s new Astoria just down the street this is the new hotspot downtown).
