It was his father who initiated Eros into the knowledge of wine and with that the first reflections on which label to pair with which dish, respecting one and the other. Sacrifices, comparisons, travel, daily training, good reading, and studying oenology in Italy and abroad, gave Eros a broad view of the world's terroirs and tasting techniques, and the realisation that the path of wine was the right one.
Eros holds international certifications from the Court of Master Sommeliers in London (Certified Sommelier) and on 30 June 2018 in Rome, the highest podium of the Worldwide Sommelier Association, he was awarded Best Sommelier in the World. In 2021 subsequently also Best Sommelier of Italy.
