This wine was crafted entirely from the Rewa Estate in Coombsville, Napa Valley. The fruit was harvested by hand between September 28 and October 6. Each block was fermented separately, pressed, transferred to French oak barrels, and kept as a discreet lot for approximately ten months. The wine was then blended and returned to barrels for an additional year of aging in French oak. The wine was bottled without fining or filtration on July 10, 2018.

The vineyards are planted well above the valley floor which give the wines the concentrated and complex finish that they are known for. After releasing their first vintage in 1993, they have grown to produce two Bordeaux blends from their estate vineyards and a small amount of Sauvignon Blanc from premier sites throughout the Valley. The site also is the source for grapes for several other vintners such as Silver Oak Wine Cellars, Frank Family Vineyard, David Ramey, Viader and Caymus. Snowden wines have continuously received very high ratings, and their limited case production makes them even more desirable to consumers.
