Tales Wine Bar

Tales is a new wine bar, opened by the people behind Teller and finally filling a gap in the Töölö area’s bar scene. One almost feels as though they’re in a design museum, with Ingo Maurer lamps and other design objects catching the eye, and the place has quickly become a living room for people residing nearby.

Bookings are taken but walk-ins are encouraged, and one can easily spend the whole night there since snacks are offered alongside the drinks. One of the favourites on the menu is brioche bread filled with garlic cream cheese, which can often be smelt when walking in. As in Teller, many non-alcoholic wines and cocktails are available, and the wine selection focuses on European regions as guided by the main restaurant’s list.
