JING

Located in downtown Summerlin, this eastern-inspired steakhouse with alternative locations in Aspen and Denver, Colorado is the perfect spot for a getaway from normal suburban life. While not entirely transported to the old club feel, JING is a close enough approximation to what one could experience on the Las Vegas Strip at some of the more extravagant restaurants. Embrace it! The menu is eclectic with highlights of western and eastern cuisine: tuna pizza, wagyu beef bao sliders and a classic Caesar salad all adorn the same menu. These can be ordered alongside Australian A9 wagyu beef. There is a little bit of everything for everyone at this restaurant – the perfect way to escape from the normal life of suburban Las Vegas.

This is a wine list that you are best served by being well-educated in order to make the most of: the staff is fun to be around and will highlight all of the menu items, but the fun comes from discovering wine list items not to be found anywhere else in town (with or without help!) – this is what makes it worth the visit to JING. Roy Arias has selected plenty of small-production Grüner Veltliners and dry Rieslings along with grower Champagnes to go perfectly with the Asian-inspired food. But, if your dining partner wants to find something more mainstream, you won’t have to look hard to find that. It's a perfect balance of the two most important parts of what makes a wine list great: there are hidden gems, and yet comfortability for the average person. It's hard to write a wine list like this that gets both of those right, and JING does it well.
