About Corte Sconta
Upon entering the restaurant, you immediately see a well-stocked wine fridge straight ahead and rows of serious-looking wine glasses lining the wall, the signs you’ve come to the right place. Corte Sconta is a classic trattoria that is in all the guide books, but it’s still good. In summer the courtyard is open where a grand old vine gives some shade.
Expect superb seafood and pasta dishes, rustic but professional service and a serious wine list. The wine selection covers most of Italy across many pages and also has a selection of international wines (although the French wines are pricey―stick with the Italians). Bonus points for the good range of half bottles.
