Located in the old town of Malmö, two stones throws away from the tourist friendly lilla torg in Malmö, lies Julie. A wine bar established 2018 and is borrowing its name from Beaujolais artisan wine maker Julie Balagny. And just as the winemaker strives to be close to the “more than biodynamic” approach to the wine so do Julie (the wine bar).

Beaujolais Wine List of the Year Sweden, presented by Inter Beaujolais 2024
Hörte Brygga & Köksbordet is located in Hörte Hamn on the Swedish south coast. The menu is based on locally sourced produce. The wine list follows the natural and non-intervention style. All wines can be had by the glass if the conditions allow. Köksbordet (=The kitchen table) is open during the winter months and serves a large number of small dishes during one seating. Hörte brygga is open during summer and with drop-in only. This is a must-visit destination if you are in south Sweden during summer. Exceptional food and wine.

Bourgogne Wine List of the Year Sweden, presented by Albert Bichot 2024
Ett Hem is the exclusive hotel with a homely feel that also houses a fine dining restaurant. During 2022 the hotel has expanded to the neighbouring building. This has given more space to the restaurant and there are several separate rooms for dinners and tastings. The wine list is curated at the highest level with Burgundy, Jura, Italy, USA and many other gems. Please note that you cannot drop in to the restaurant, you have to make a reservation in advance.

Beaujolais Wine List of the Year Sweden, presented by Inter Beaujolais 2024
Villa de luxe is housed in an old vicar's building from the 19th century, and as the name implies, it's a sibling to Kafe de luxe. The wine cellar is dedicated to natural wines and France is king. To dine with the wine, there is a selection of small dishes and pizzas. Open hours may differ.

Peter Halldén, experienced sommelier and restaurant manager from Michelin star Thörnströms Kök in Gothenburg, found the ideal location near his hometown Varberg and opened Spiseriet. Although there is no vineyard, the place transports you to a farm restaurant near vineyards in warmer climats - with fields and farms in the surrounding and a large outdoor area. Inside, the kitchen shares the farm house with the dining room and a very cosy atmosphere. If you’re heading to the Swedish mountain resort of Sälen you may find yourself getting tired of hot dogs after a while - but there is help. Petri is the latest venture by Swedish top chef Petter Nilsson, who moved here from Spritmuseum and took over the space from Volt. Petri is small, cozy, stylish and you get amazing food in tasting menus both for lunch and dinner. The wine list has the coolest names from Europe mixed up with some classics. Service is excellent too.
