BAROLO & FRIENDS in Copenhagen 2025 | Opera House foyer

The 16th edition of the most exclusive wine event of the year in the Danish capital, with around 30 wine producers from the Italian region of Piemonte!

The unquestioned leading event for Danish sector professionals and wine lovers

On Wednesday, May 14, 2025, the Barolo & Friends Event will be held in Copenhagen for the 16th time. The event will take place in the prestigious Opera House Foyer on Holmen, and nearly 40 wine producers from Piedmont are expected to participate.

Piemonte is one of the most important wine regions in the world: a fertile area where high quality wines are produced under the best conditions. The winemakers will personally present their fine bottles of Barolo, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo, Barbera and other great Piedmontese wines to Danish consumers during a “walk around tasting”, where more than 250 different labels will be available!

For the 2025 edition, we have a major novelty for HORECA professionals! A unique sensory experience awaits professionals at the 16th edition of Barolo & Friends, the largest event dedicated to Piedmont wines in Denmark: Consorzio I Vini del Piemonte presents the first Piedmont Blind Tasting Competition. This innovative interactive competition will reward those with the highest knowledge of Piedmont wines. All info here.

The partnerships with some important consortia and producer associations will also be confirmed for the 2025 edition: you will have the chance to taste a great variety of Nizza DOCG in collaboration with Nizza DOCG Producers Association, while Alto Piemonte consortium will sponsor a master class adressed to professionals.

As usual, the event will be divided into three different sessions, in the shape of a “walk around tasting”. The first session will be reserved to professionals, and the other two will be open to paying final consumers:

• From 11.30 to 15.00 (for professionals). Trade registration form
• From 16.00 to 18.00 (for private consumers). Ticket price: DKK 375
• From 18.30 to 20.30 (for private consumers). Ticket price: DKK 390

At the entrance you will receive your tasting glass and you will spend 2 hours discovering Barolo and its “friends”, the wines from other areas of Piemonte. Come and taste the exclusive wines and find your favorites!

Don’t miss the chance to win a Magnum. The prize will be drawn randomly among the participants during both consumers sessions!
