A Sensory Journey into the Heart of Piedmont: Barolo & Friends Returns to Aarhus!
Prepare for an unforgettable experience! On Monday, May 12, 2025, after a five-year hiatus, the renowned “Barolo & Friends” event will make its triumphant return to Aarhus for its sixth edition. The exceptional location will be SMEDIEN, a charming venue that will provide the perfect backdrop for this exclusive event.
Immerse yourself in the oenological richness of Piedmont, one of the world’s most prestigious wine regions, where climate and terroir come together to create wines of unparalleled quality. You’ll have the unique opportunity to meet 15 leading producers from the most renowned areas of Piedmont, who will personally present their oenological jewels.
The event will be divided into two distinct moments:
• Masterclass for Professionals (10:30 – 12.30): An unmissable opportunity for importers, distributors, Ho.Re.Ca. experts, sommeliers, and journalists to deepen their knowledge of Piedmontese wines. + business lunch
• Walk Around Tasting (12:30 PM – 3:30 PM): Open to all enthusiasts, a tasting journey with over 90 labels, including the famous Barolo, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo, and Barbera.
Upon arrival, you’ll receive a glass to begin a sensory journey through the unique flavors of Piedmont. Let yourself be captivated by the elegance of Barolo and the personality of its “friends,” wines from other areas of this generous land.
