Rezi Tsetskhaedze

Rezi Tsetskhladze was born and raised in Georgia. He is a winemaker and founder of Pery Wines and Zakara Cider, with a background in oenology and viticulture and a Master’s in innovative wine marketing and tourism through the WINTOUR program (l’Institut des Sciences de la Vigne et du Vin de l’Université de Bordeaux, Universitat Rovira I Virgili, Tarragona (Spain) and the University of Porto (Portugal)). He is an ASI-certified sommelier and holds a WSET Level 3 exam.

From 2019 through 2020, Rezi was a cellar rat at Rodney Strong in California. In 2021 he worked for Maison Marchand-Tawse in Burgundy, Nuits-Saint-Georges, with winemaker Pascal Marchand. He then had the pleasure of working with international wine professionals like Debra Meiburg MW as a Communication and Marketing Executive at Meiburg Wine Media, and Lisa Granik MW as a taster for “Granik’s Guide to Georgian Wine”. He's also been the Brand Manager of the historical Vazisubani Estate, as well as a wine specialist at the National Wine Agency of Georgia.

Today Rezi is working with consulting and education for Georgia’s wine production and sales sector also judging for International wine competitions: IWSC, BWT, AWT, and Qvevri International Wine Competition.
