The second stop on the 2025/’26 Star Wine List of the Year tour celebrated the top wine lists of Belgium and the Netherlands at an awards ceremony at Rotterdam’s Zalmhuis restaurant, on 29 September. This is the place with the best selections of Austrian wines in Belgium.

Sponsored by Austrian Wine, the Best Austrian Wine List category rewards the restaurants and wine bars with the finest selections of the country’s wines.

At Star Wine List of the Year Belgium & Netherlands 2025, the Gold Star for Belgium presented to Paul de Pierre in Maarkedal, for its “comprehensive selection”.

Paul de Pierre now goes on to compete in the Star Wine List of the Year International Final, which will be held in June 2026.

All Gold and Silver Stars awarded in Belgium and the Netherlands can be viewed here, with the winners can be located on our Gold Star map.
