Expanded Dubai guide with Dheeraj Bhatia – 17 new Red Stars
Dheeraj Bhatia has previously been Star Wine List’s ambassador for Adelaide and South Australia. Recently he moved back to Dubai, the place where he was raised. Now he has added no less than 17 new Red Stars to our guide to the best wine bars and wine restaurants in the city (like Nobu pictured above).
Dheeraj Bhatia came back to Dubai to work on one of the most awaited openings of 2024 - the new The Lana, Dorchester Dubai, with several top restaurants - including Jara by Martin Berasategui. The opening was scheduled for February 1st, the same week we held our first awards in the emirates. A preview earlier in the week showed amazing views, menus and wine lists.
”It has been very exciting to be able to work on this opening and we can't wait to welcome guests both here in Dubai and from abroad. We aim to bring new exciting wine offerings to Dubai and be a place for wine lovers,” Bhatia said.
Besides the duties at the Lana Dorchester, Bhatia has been exploring the wine scene in the city and expanding on our selection of great wine places in the city - bringing our total to 27 Red Stars.
