The UAE’s Best California Wine List 2025 is at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal Dubai
Dubai restaurant Dinner by Heston Blumenthal has been awarded a Gold Star for the Best California Wine List at Star Wine List of the Year UAE 2025.
At a ceremony in Dubai this week, Star Wine List named the winners of the Dubai leg of this season’s global competition.
In a local category for the UAE contest, Dubai’s Dinner by Heston Blumenthal has been recognised for having the Best California Wine List in the country, a category supported by Pahlmeyer. This was one of two Gold Stars accepted by the team on the night, along with one for the Best Bordeaux Wine List.
“This Californian section presents a remarkably comprehensive overview of the state’s wine landscape,” says judge Raimonds Tomsons. “It covers the key AVAs – from Sonoma Coast and Anderson Valley, to the Santa Cruz Mountains and the full breadth of Napa Valley – showcasing an incredible wealth of benchmark producers, diverse terroirs, vintage ranges, bottle formats, and wine styles including red, white and even sparkling.
“The selection balances cult estates with emerging names, offering both depth and accessibility. It is a carefully structured and curated collection that captures the ambition and beauty of Californian winemaking.”
