A hot new Roman-style Italian spot in Chicago’s Fulton Market, Il Carciofo successfully merges a respectfully Roman menu of primarily pasta and pizza with some real West Loop glitz and glamour. A fun and energetic atmosphere given some legitimacy by an adventurous Italian wine list that truly reads like one from a Trastevere trattoria – not extensive, but well-appointed and appropriate for the style and cuisine.
