Experienced sommeliers Béatrice Becher and Jonas Sandberg opened the Stockholm wine bar they wanted to visit themselves in this eastern Södermalm part of town. The name plays on the French word for madness, Folie. As you'll see on the interior, it’s loosely related to Territoriet in Oslo. Folii is one of the best wine bars in town and they have won our wine list competition in the By the glass-category several times. There are tasty small dishes on the menu and if you are eager for a more full meal - drop in to their restaurant next door: Voisine.

Swedish master chef Tommy Myllymäki opened the grand fine dining restaurant Aira during the hard spring of 2020 when things were looking really bad for the dining scene. The vision paid off despite this and Aira is well on its way to being a new classic in the city - beautifully located by the seaside on Djurgården. Restaurant Bulot by the Norra Hamngatan canal in central Gothenburg is the restaurant sibling of the wine bar in Saluhallen. A la carte and set menus are served in a modern casual environment, and we were very impressed by the tasty and creative takes on classic west coast seafood like mackerel. Wine-wise, the Bulot wine list is a good read, varied and dominated by France but you'll find wines from further away as well. There is also a bar section and a few seats outside when the season and weather permits.
