About Aira
Swedish master chef Tommy Myllymäki opened the grand fine dining restaurant Aira during the hard spring of 2020 when things were looking really bad for the dining scene. The vision paid off despite this and Aira is well on its way to being a new classic in the city - beautifully located by the seaside on Djurgården. The design is grand, modern and very Scandinavian, and the cuisine is very much the same. Aira has been rewarded with two stars by Guide Michelin.
The service team is experienced and very professional. A must-visit for visitors to Stockholm. There is also a beautiful bar and outdoor seating in summer.
About the Aira Wine List
Opening at the worst of times surely reduced the ambitions for the wine list but it is growing with well-picked bottles from classical producers and regions, often at very reasonable prices for such an ambitious fine dining venue. There is also a well-chosen wine pairing, an unusually good bet.
