Born in Belgrade, Vuk spent the majority of his childhood and education in Novi Sad, where he completed high school and university, with a focus on gastronomy and hospitality. His career began as a cook, progressed to sommelier, and ultimately led to managerial positions in prestigious restaurants in Belgrade. He also spent a year as a sales manager for a wine distribution company.

In 2022, he co-founded the wine-focussed restaurant Pinot, situated in New Belgrade, where he is both Manager and Head Sommelier. The restaurant received a Michelin recommendation in the 2024 guide, just 18 months after opening.

Vuk is a two-time Best Sommelier of Serbia (2017, 2023) and Best Sommelier in the Balkans (2018). He has represented Serbia at two Best Sommelier of the World competitions, reaching the 2019 semi-finals in Antwerp and the 2023 quarter-finals in Paris. He has also gained international experience as a guest competitor in the Best Sommelier of Norway and a judge for the Best Sommelier of Austria.

In 2024, Vuk faces the greatest challenge of his competition career: representing Serbia at the Best Sommelier of Europe, Africa and Middle East, which takes place in his hometown of Belgrade.

Vuk's professional journey reflects his passion and dedication to gastronomy and his ability continuously to improve and achieve outstanding results. His achievements place him among the most prominent experts in the region.
