Bar Rix is a cosy wine bar founded in 2018 by the one and only Valentine Mühlberger in central Cologne. Valentine's mother is from France and she got bitten by the wine bug in the early 2000s in St. Emilion helping with the harvest. The Frohnatur wine shop has now a lovely old-school wine bar called Frohnatur Weinstube in Cologne's trendy neighbourhood Ehrenfeld. Cosy and rustic in the best sense. They have a great selection of natural wines from all over Europe. The by-the-glass program is always interesting. My favourite page on the wine list is the "Thalys Sonderangebot".
