64 Wine is a wine treasure trove. It’s not everyday nor every place that you can get the likes of Foradori, Etienne Sauzet and Cullen Peitit Verdot by the glass. There is also a wine bar menu, brunch and many exciting events throughout the year. Most important when visiting 64 Wine is to make time to explore their cellar – it really is magic what you’ll find.

  3. Daróg Wine Bar, a wine bar in Galway, Ireland.

Address: 56 Dominick Street Lower, Galway

International Sustainable Wine List of the Year, presented by Lingua Franca 2025

Darog (’small oak tree’ in Irish) is one of the newest wine bars to open in Ireland and is a venture from Sommelier Zsolt Lukas & his wife Edel featuring artisan wines from organic & biodynamic producers. Natural wines feature on the list too. Locally sourced food is also available; small plates, cheese and more. Wines are available retail too. No doubt more to come as Darog finds its roots. An excellent addition to Galway City.
