    Darog (’small oak tree’ in Irish) is one of the newest wine bars to open in Ireland and is a venture from Sommelier Zsolt Lukas & his wife Edel featuring artisan wines from organic & biodynamic producers. Natural wines feature on the list too. Locally sourced food is also available; small plates, cheese and more. Wines are available retail too. No doubt more to come as Darog finds its roots. An excellent addition to Galway City.

    David Gallagher created Green Man wines and has had continued success over the years, bringing great wines to the residents of Terenure and the Dublin trade. Dave has a solid team in place and has a broad wine business at Green Man. Starting with the retail shop through to a wine club, numerous events each year, and a walk-ins-only wine bar from Thursday to Saturday. When you walk into Green Man, you are in good hands and there is never a shortage of fine wines, quirky wines, and boundless knowledge.

    UNioN Wine, Bar & Restaurant is a new addition to the restaurant scene in Waterford city. The wine list is broad, from Grower Champagne to Sherry, skin contact wines, and Vin Jaune by the glass, through to the classics of Burgundy and old vintages of Rioja and wine on tap. The wine list is destined to be in constant evolution, and the menu will change with the seasons. Union will also have a wine club called “Somm on the Mall”, with a focus on wine education.     Woodruff: perennial plant native to Europe. Woodruff – the restaurant – is located in the village of Stepside and, as its name suggests, has a menu and wine list reflective of the bounty of amazing food and wine available on the continent. Much of the menu is sourced in Ireland, while the wine list focuses on organic, biodynamic and natural wines, including an amazing selection of grower Champagne, and wines from the Jura and Burgundy. Sustainability is threaded throughout the menu and wine list.
